"Thank you Mr. President." Pete clicks on the holodisplay. "The ESS 121 is the latest in combat approved stun guns. It can stun up to 100 opponents in a 30° spread out to 121 feet. It may also send a sonic pulse that has the range of a bullet. Unfortunately, like a bullet, the sonic pulse has the potential to kill if the distancing sensors are off."

"Is this a difficult technological hurdle?" President Smith asks.

"It's a luck hurdle, sir. In combat, anything can happen and it usually does. Should someone cross the path of the sonic pulse, it will be more intense and cut right through them as a bullet would. Usually a BIG bullet," General Molodisec answers.
